Verify the Shopify-backed catalog, inspect product and sales context, and hand selected merchandise into creative or campaign work.
Products is Marketer’s Shopify-backed catalog. Use it to identify the exact merchandise, inspect available product and sales context, and carry a synced record into Studio or Campaigns. Shopify remains the source of truth for catalog edits.Open Products and confirm the active workspace before selecting merchandise.
Let the initial product, collection, and order-data sync finish.
Confirm the storefront destination and product status in Shopify.
Know which variant, offer, and audience the downstream work should use.
In Shopify Advanced permissions, enable Push enhanced images to Shopify only when you intentionally want to add a reviewed image to the live product.
Products depends on the Shopify connection in Integrations; locate Shopify and resolve its connection state before diagnosing an empty catalog.
Manual product creation is not currently available in Products. The Add product control explains that Marketer pulls the catalog from Shopify. Create or correct the source record in Shopify, then sync it into Marketer.
Products loads three related data layers independently.
Layer
What appears
How to interpret it
Catalog
Product identity, image, vendor, tags, handle, status, variants, and price range
This can appear before sales metrics.
Collections
Collection roster and product membership
This can arrive after the initial product rows.
Sales metrics
Units, revenue, KPIs, and trend for available Shopify orders
A placeholder or missing value is not automatically zero.
Do not use Best sellers or Revenue ranking as decision-grade evidence while sales metrics are still loading or degraded. Product money is shown in the Shopify source currency; read any disclosure when it differs from the workspace display currency.
Start on Products for the full catalog. Choose Collections when collection membership is part of the question, then open a collection to return to its filtered product list.
2
Search the catalog
Use Search products by name, vendor, or tag…. Search by an exact identifier when products have similar titles or regional variants.
3
Choose the view
Use table view to compare rows and select products. Use card view when image identity is the fastest way to distinguish them.
4
Choose a meaningful sort
Select Featured, Best sellers, Revenue, Price: high to low, Price: low to high, or Name A–Z. Metric-based sorts become meaningful only after the sales layer is available.
5
Open the product
Select the product title or row and confirm the breadcrumb reads Products followed by the intended title. Do not continue from a thumbnail or name alone when similar variants exist.
Use Resync when the source changed and the current catalog is otherwise healthy. Use Retry sync when the product surface shows a failed Shopify sync. Starting a sync does not mean it has completed; wait for the status and then reopen the record.
The detail view combines static catalog facts with date-windowed sales context.
1
Verify identity and destination
Inspect the gallery, product title, status, vendor, product type, copy, price range, and variants. Select View in Shopify and confirm the live destination, current offer, and availability.
2
Set the sales window
Use the date control to choose a window within the store’s available order history. The URL updates with the selected boundaries so the exact view can be revisited.
3
Read KPIs and trend together
Review the visible KPI totals, prior-period context, and product trend. Keep the source currency and order-date coverage attached to any conclusion.
4
Inspect variants
Confirm the intended variant exists and its identifying fields match Shopify. Product-level sales context does not by itself prove which variant or creative caused the result.
5
Choose the next action
Use Create ads for Studio, Enhance images for a gallery-image branch, or return to the list and select Build campaign for campaign setup.
If the selected date has no available orders, distinguish a true zero from a window outside the store’s covered history. Use Analytics when you need a cross-channel or attribution-aware explanation.
Return to the Products list and select one or more rows. The action bar appears with the selection count.
Select Build campaign.
Confirm the campaign chooser opens.
If one product was selected, verify its title and storefront destination seeded the flow. With several selected products, the campaign seed summarizes the selection around the first product; inspect the actual campaign product scope rather than relying on that summary.
Choose Meta or Google Ads only when that connected provider supports the intended campaign.
In the provider builder, review the product or destination, objective, audience, budget, conversion settings, creative, and schedule.
Save as a draft while inputs or approvals are unresolved.
Complete campaign review and launch verification; the Products handoff never counts as a launch.
If the storefront URL could not be derived, the campaign setup remains manual. Enter and open the intended destination before building the rest of the campaign.
You can select Create ads from the product detail or from the multi-select action bar.
1
Select the exact records
From the list, select only the products that should enter one Studio session. If the selection exceeds the Studio attachment limit, Marketer states how many products it attached and asks you to add the rest from the composer.
2
Open Studio
Select Create ads and confirm the product attachments appear in Studio. Remove a wrong attachment before writing the direction.
3
Add creative direction
Attach an approved brief or specify the audience, angle, proof, offer, format, and exclusions. The product record establishes identity; it does not supply every strategic decision.
4
Review and save
Verify that generated product imagery, copy, price, offer, and destination match the selected record. Save only the concepts that pass review, then confirm them in Assets.
Select Enhance images on a product with at least one gallery image. The action is disabled when the product has no images.
1
Choose the source image
Select the gallery image you intend to change. The primary image is preselected unless you opened the action from another gallery image.
2
Choose a mode
Select Enhance, Background, Isolate, Relight, or Upscale. Read the mode description; an empty Background or Relight detail uses the default described by the dialog.
3
Add optional detail
In Details, describe only the requested scene, lighting, cutout, or correction. Do not ask the enhancement to invent a new product feature.
4
Review usage before generating
Read the displayed preview count and token cost, then choose Generate previews. The current flow creates two previews and saves them to the Studio library while they finish.
5
Inspect the previews
Wait for each tile to finish or follow View in Studio from the completion message. A failed tile is not an approved asset even when the other preview succeeds.
6
Choose the destination
Select Open in Studio to refine a ready preview. Select Push to Shopify only when the image should become part of the live source product and Push enhanced images to Shopify is enabled.
Push to Shopify adds the generated image to the source product. Confirm the product, preview, rights, and storefront effect before using it. If the control requests access, open Integrations → Shopify → Advanced permissions and enable Push enhanced images to Shopify only when you intend to make that store change.
After a successful push, Shopify can continue processing the image briefly. Verify the source product and live storefront before using the new image in customer-facing work.
Open Integrations and confirm Shopify is connected to this workspace. If setup is running, wait for the first sync. If it failed, use Retry sync and inspect the connection rather than creating replacement records in Marketer.
A product or collection is missing
Clear search, switch to the correct Products or Collections view, and check the source record in Shopify. Select Resync, wait for completion, and then search by exact title, vendor, or tag.
Revenue or Best sellers looks incomplete
Wait for the sales-metrics layer and confirm the window contains covered Shopify orders. Use Featured, price, or name sorting while metrics are unavailable; do not treat a placeholder as zero.
Product detail is stale
Compare the record with View in Shopify, then start Resync. Reopen the product after the sync completes and verify both catalog facts and the selected sales window.
Product context did not reach Studio
Return to Products, select the intended record, and choose Create ads once. Confirm the product appears in Studio’s context before generating; add any overflow selection through the composer.
Product context did not reach Campaigns
Return to the list, select the intended record, and choose Build campaign. In the chooser and setup form, verify the seeded title and storefront destination before adding provider-specific configuration.
Enhance images is disabled
The product has no usable gallery image or the workspace context is unavailable. Add the source image in Shopify, complete a sync, and reopen the product.
An enhancement failed or is still generating
Open Studio from the completion message or product flow and inspect the saved generation. Retry only the failed intent after checking tokens, source image, and instruction; closing the dialog does not cancel work already started.
Push to Shopify asks for access
The store does not have Push enhanced images to Shopify enabled. If the push is intended, open Integrations → Shopify → Advanced permissions, enable that permission, and retry the same reviewed preview. Otherwise keep the result in Studio.
