# Profile and authentication

> Manage your personal name and photo, review sign-in identities, reset the password, and revoke every session.

**Profile** and **Authentication** are personal settings. They follow your Marketer identity across every account and workspace you can reach.

## Update Profile

Open **Settings** → **Profile**. Under **Your details**, manage:

| Field             | Behavior                                          |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Profile photo** | Upload, change, or remove the image teammates see |
| **Full name** | Required display name shown on shared workspaces |
| **Email**         | Read-only sign-in email                           |

Profile photos accept JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 5 MB. Select **Upload photo** or **Change photo**, then verify the preview. **Remove** returns the avatar to initials.

The full name supports up to 120 characters. Select **Save** after editing it.

<Note>
  The Profile page says email change requires a reauthentication flow and is coming soon. It does not currently provide an email-edit control.
</Note>

## Review Authentication

Open **Settings** → **Authentication**.

### Account

The **Account** section shows:

* **Email**; and
* **Last sign-in**.

Use the timestamp when investigating an unexpected session, but remember it is the account's latest recorded sign-in—not a list of every active device.

### Identity providers

**Identity providers** lists how the account can sign in and when each identity was last used. It can include password or social identity providers associated with the account.

The page is currently a review surface. It does not expose ordinary link, unlink, or provider-replacement controls.

## Send a password reset

Under **Password**, select **Send reset link**.

1. Confirm the account email in the **Account** section.
2. Select **Send reset link**.
3. Look for **Reset link sent. Check your inbox.**
4. Open the message on a trusted device and set the new password.
5. Return to Marketer and sign in again.

Do not forward the reset link or include it in an escalation. If the account uses a linked identity provider, resetting a Marketer password does not secure the external identity-provider account.

## Sign out everywhere

Use **Sign out everywhere** to revoke every Marketer session for the account, including the current browser, phones, and other browsers.

<Warning>
  Global sign-out interrupts the current session. Save drafts and settings before selecting **Sign out everywhere**.
</Warning>

After global sign-out:

1. Secure the email account and any listed identity provider.
2. Reset the Marketer password if appropriate.
3. Sign in through the intended provider.
4. Review connected agents, workspace access, and provider connections for unexpected changes.

The ordinary dashboard sign-out is narrower and signs out the current session. **Sign out everywhere** is the account-wide containment action.

## Sign-in versus workspace access

Authentication proves your personal identity. It does not grant a workspace.

| Symptom                                     | Likely area                                                     |
| ------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Cannot sign in | Email, password, identity provider, verification, or reset flow |
| Can sign in but workspace is absent | Account membership or selected-workspace grant |
| Workspace appears but controls are disabled | Effective Viewer role |
| MCP client cannot reach workspace | Session grant and MCP seat, in addition to membership |

Ask an account Owner or Admin to review [Members and roles](/workspace-admin/members-and-roles) when authentication succeeds but workspace reach does not.

## Recovery checklist

* Same email or identity provider shown on Authentication
* Password reset attempted instead of repeated password guesses
* Verification completed in the browser where sign-in began when possible
* Account email and provider account secured
* **Sign out everywhere** used for an untrusted session
* Workspace reach checked separately from authentication
* Unrecognized MCP sessions disconnected

## Next step

Review [Security and troubleshooting](/workspace-admin/security-and-troubleshooting), then confirm your active workspace and effective role.
