# Branding and Autofills

> Build the workspace brand kit, review proposed facts, and set reusable campaign defaults.

**Branding & Brand Profile** controls what the agent knows about the active workspace. **Autofills** controls the defaults used when new campaign work is created. Neither should be copied from another workspace without review.

## Build the brand kit

Open **Settings** → **Branding & Brand Profile**.

### Workspace

The **Workspace** section controls:

* workspace name; and
* workspace reporting currency.

These are workspace settings, not brand facts. Reporting currency affects blended views; changing it does not change a provider account's native currency.

### Build your brand kit

Use **Build your brand kit** to provide source material:

1. Enter the brand website and select **Build from website**.
2. Add relevant brand files through the file manager.
3. While research runs, follow **Brand research running** and **view progress**.
4. Review the proposed facts instead of assuming research output is approved.

Use the canonical public website and current brand guidelines. Remove obsolete source material so later proposals are grounded in the right identity.

## Review agent-proposed facts

The page deliberately separates review state from approved state.

| Section                    | Meaning                          | Available decision              |
| -------------------------- | -------------------------------- | ------------------------------- |
| **Suggested by the agent** | Proposed facts awaiting a person | Approve, adjust, or deny |
| **Your brand kit** | Facts the agent uses now | Edit the current approved value |

* **Approve** promotes the proposed fact into the active brand kit.
* **Adjust** lets you correct it before approval.
* **Deny** keeps an unsupported or unwanted claim out of the active kit.

<Warning>
  Only facts in **Your brand kit** should be treated as approved workspace truth. A suggestion, source upload, or research run is not approval by itself.
</Warning>

### Competitor watchlist

Use **Competitor watchlist** for exact, team-supplied competitors. You can add, edit, and remove entries. Clearing the complete list requires confirmation.

Review the list when positioning changes, a competitor rebrands, or a company was added only for a temporary campaign.

## Keep brand context trustworthy

* Prefer one specific, reviewable fact over a vague paragraph.
* Distinguish verified claims from tone or positioning preferences.
* Update sources when the website or guidelines change.
* Remove stale claims rather than adding contradictory facts.
* Ask the content owner to review high-impact edits.
* Verify another workspace is active before editing a similarly named brand.

## Configure Autofills

Open **Settings** → **Autofills**. The page has four tabs:

* **Advantage+ enhancements**
* **Naming presets**
* **Copy**
* **Website & UTM**

New campaign work inherits these defaults, but a teammate can override them for a specific launch before publishing.

### Advantage+ enhancements

Set the workspace defaults for Meta creative enhancements. New ads begin with these choices, and Power Editor uses them as suggestions.

**Slack drift alerts** sends a Slack message when Meta turns an enhancement on independently. It needs a connected Slack workspace and channel; otherwise the page offers **Connect Slack**.

Treat these as creative-delivery policy, not cosmetic form defaults. Review the final ad-level configuration before publishing.

### Naming presets

Naming presets generate names for campaigns, ad sets, ads, and creatives at launch.

1. Select **New naming preset**.
2. Enter **Preset name**.
3. Build templates with **Variables** in `{{double braces}}`.
4. Select **Create preset**.
5. Edit with **Edit naming preset** and **Save changes**.
6. Set the intended preset as the workspace default.

Use names that remain useful in provider reporting after a launch. Test every level with realistic values so missing variables or repeated delimiters do not become the permanent provider name.

### Copy

**Default ad copy** can set:

* **Primary text**
* **Headline**
* **Call to action**
* **Description**

A blank default leaves that field empty. Keep legal, offer, and market-specific copy in the individual brief when it should not apply to every new ad.

### Website & UTM

Set:

* **Default destination URL**;
* **UTM template**;
* **Default naming preset**; and
* the values confirmed by the live preview.

Use an approved canonical destination, validate required UTM variables, and test the preview before selecting **Save defaults**.

<Warning>
  A wrong destination or UTM template can propagate to every new campaign. Verify domain, path, redirects, query delimiters, and naming variables before saving a workspace default.
</Warning>

## Verify inheritance before launch

Create a paused test brief and inspect:

1. brand facts used in the output;
2. competitor references;
3. creative enhancement defaults;
4. generated names at every provider level;
5. primary text, headline, CTA, and description;
6. destination URL and UTM preview; and
7. any launch-specific override.

## Next step

After the brand kit and autofills pass a paused test, configure [Guardrails and autonomy](/workspace-admin/guardrails-and-autonomy) before increasing launch autonomy.
